Welcome to Austin Bear's Adventures

I am Austin, a curious and adventurous bear who lives in a house in the forest.  My wife, Emily, and I have two cubs, Scotty and Rosie. We have so many exciting things to share with you!  You will learn about us and our adventures in our book series. I will take you on a little tour of the books here, three books at a time.​                                         
PART 1:  BOOKS 1 - 3

​​​Book 1: AUSTIN BEAR'S YARD SALE ​
I decided to clean out my house which was overloaded with stuff from when I was a young cub. My friend Stevie Squirrel suggested a yard sale. I loved the idea and put out all my extra toys and some household items I didn't need. Many of our forest friends attended and Frankie Fox even entertained us with his lively singing. The grand finale was when Zeus, the Moose, decorated himself in my old Christmas stuff: ornaments hanging from his horns and wreaths wrapped around his middle. The best part is the ending, which I will leave as a surprise for you. I never thought of doing what I did and was ever so happy that I did!!​​
Book 2: AUSTIN BEAR'S TIME MACHINE​
Hey, everyone! How does it sound to take a ride in a time machine back to dinosaur times? Gemmie Goose and I accidentally climbed aboard a time machine and off we went! We met some fascinating creatures, including a cave bear who did stand up comedy routines in a night club. The trip back to old Egypt added a new character to our series: Khufu the Mummy. He used to rule Egypt and his tomb was in a pyramid. He joined us on the trip back. We stopped off to see some aliens in space and then found our way back home. This was truly a thrilling adventure!​
Book 3:  AUSTIN BEAR'S SEA CRUISE SURPRISE
​Do you love adventure on the high seas? I do! My friends and I couldn't wait to use our free tickets to a cruise given to us by friends Thor the Tiger and his family.  We soon discovered the luxury to be found on board. Food everywhere, delicious and lovely to look at! The swimming pool on board was delightful, cool water and beautiful views all around the ship. The most exciting thing was the night life. We went to parties, dances and a magic show. While we were at a party I met my future wife, Emily. I was too afraid to ask her to dance and it took me a day or so to get up my nerve. When I finally asked her, at the "sock hop" (she looked adorable in her pink poodle skirt) she said yes.  We had so much fun the rest of the trip sightseeing and hanging out with our friends.
